INNOVATIVE CARRIERS CHARGEBACKS POLICY



LTL/Volume/Partial Direct Shipments

Innovative Carriers does not take responsibility for any chargebacks — including guaranteed shipments.

 


Guaranteed FTL Shipments

  • Innovative Carriers takes responsibility for a chargeback only in the event of a missed appointment with a minimum two-hour delivery window. If window is not provided, Innovative Carriers will not honor the chargeback.

  • Chargeback reimbursement applies to one PO per shipment only.

  • The maximum chargeback amount Innovative Carriers will honor is $750.

  • Innovative Carriers does not take responsibility for chargebacks due to the following reasons, including but not limited to:
    • Incorrect packing lists or BOLs.
    • Missing PO number or carton count. numbers on the Bol
    • Errors in loading or documentation prepared by the shipping warehouse.
    • Late deliveries caused by insufficient transit time to meet MABD requirements or when the fulfillment center does not provide a timely delivery appointment.

  • The shipping warehouse is responsible for ensuring that what is loaded matches the BOL and follows all fulfillment center requirements.

  • Innovative Carriers will schedule delivery appointments. Drivers will generally meet the scheduled times unless unforeseen or natural circumstances occur. However, we cannot assume responsibility for related chargebacks.

 


General Terms

  • Innovative Carriers does not take responsibility for any chargeback.

  • The shipper is responsible for loading freight according to fulfillment center specifications.

  • Innovative Carriers does not honor chargebacks for incorrect loading or palletization, regardless of the service option.

  • We make every effort to ensure that your shipments are picked up and delivered on time and comply with shipper/receiver requirements.

  • In cases of invalid chargebacks, Innovative Carriers will assist in the dispute process to the best of our ability.

  • All chargebacks must be reported to Innovative Carriers within 90 days of delivery. Claims submitted after this period will not be honored.
